Day 8: Seward, Alaska

Day 8: Seward, Alaska / Anchorage, Alaska
Upon arrival in Seward, you'll meet your Tour Director at the pier and board a deluxe motorcoach and enjoy a scenic drive to Anchorage. In Anchorage you will have time for lunch on your own before visiting Alaska Native Heritage Center where you will learn about all of the Native cultures indigenous to Alaska. The evening is yours for independent activities in this cosmopolitan city. Overnight at the Anchorage Downtown Marriott.

Day 9: Anchorage, Alaska / Talkeetna, Alaska
In the morning, travel on the Wilderness Express®, our glass-domed traincars, to Talkeetna. The remainder of the day is free to explore Talkeetna where you will find a multitude of optional activities to participate in from zip lining to, float trips and fixed wing flightseeing of Mt. McKinley. Overnight at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge.

Day 10: Talkeetna, Alaska / Denali, Alaska
In the morning, enjoy the nature trails that surround the lodge before you depart on the Wilderness Express to Denali. Upon arrival you will have free time to explore the area on your own. Be sure to consult with your Tour Director on the many options available to you. Retire for a restful night in Denali.

Day 11: Denali, Alaska
In the morning head out on the Tundra Wilderness Tour deep into Denali National Park. Look for Alaska's "big five": caribou, moose, bear, grey wolves and Dall sheep. The remainder of the afternoon and evening is free to relax. Spend a second night in Denali.

Day 12: Denali, Alaska / Fairbanks, Alaska
You have the morning and portion of afternoon free to book an optional land excursion or relax. Be sure to consult with your Tour Director on the many options available such as the Husky Homestead Tour or white-water rafting. The highlight of your day will no doubt be as depart on the Wilderness Express®, our glass-domed traincars, to the Fairbanks the golden heart of Alaska. Take advantage of our onboard dining and indulge in a made to order dinner in our onboard bistro style dining room. Overnight in Fairbanks.

Day 13: Fairbanks, Alaska
After breakfast, you'll enjoy a fun-filled day in Fairbanks, including a Fairbanks City Tour and a cruise down the Chena River on the Riverboat Discovery Sternwheeler. You will also visit the Museum of the North situated on the campus of the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Here you will find a large collection of Alaskan artwork and historical exhibits. Spend a second night in Fairbanks.

Day 14: Fairbanks, Alaska
Your Tour Director will see that you are transferred to the Fairbanks airport for your flight home.
