Tipping is a matter of individual preference. Most cruise lines will add a charge of $11 - $12 per person per day to your account -- this covers gratuities for the room steward, dining room waiter, busboy, etc. However, you can inform the desk if you would like to increase or decrease this amount depending on the service you've received. Other ship board personnel can be tipped for special services at your discretion.
